Legal

Cookie Policy

The cookies and similar technologies used on Summer's website and application, and how to manage them. This is a substantive draft pending review by Singapore-qualified counsel and is not legal advice.

Draft — placeholder

Final policy will be supplied by legal counsel before production. The sections below outline the document structure; specific clauses are intentionally omitted until reviewed.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. This Cookie Policy explains how Digital Flow Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202350828Z), operating the Summer product, uses these technologies on the marketing website at smrfnc.com and the application at app.smrfnc.com (together, the “Sites”).

This Policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy. It is a draft pending review by Singapore-qualified counsel and is not legal advice.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the Sites to function. These include session identifiers, authentication tokens, CSRF protection, load-balancing cookies and the consent-state cookie. They cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.

Functional. Remember preferences that improve the experience — for example, language, time zone, sidebar collapsed state. Turning these off may reduce functionality.

Analytics & performance. Help us understand how the Sites are used in aggregate — page views, navigation paths, performance metrics. We aim to use privacy-preserving analytics that do not include third-party advertising cookies. [CONFIRM: name the analytics vendor(s) actually in use]

Marketing. We currently do not use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising. [CONFIRM: list any retargeting or marketing pixels if used in future]

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies and similar technologies are set by third parties whose services we embed in the Sites. Their use is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. The third parties we currently embed include:

  • Calendly — demo-booking widget linked from the “Book a demo” calls-to-action.
  • Vercel (hosting) and [CONFIRM: analytics tool name]— for serving the Sites and measuring aggregate usage.
  • Inside the application, payment, custody and KYT integrations may set their own cookies in their respective embedded surfaces.

[CONFIRM: list the full set of embedded third parties and link to their respective policies]

4. How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies have an expiry date set when they are placed; we use the shortest expiry consistent with the purpose of the cookie. Local storage entries persist until cleared by the application or by you in your browser.

5. Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can clear local storage in the same place. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the Sites from working properly.

If you are in the EEA, UK or another jurisdiction that requires opt-in for non-essential cookies, we present a consent banner on first visit and remember your choice. You can change your preferences at any time. [CONFIRM: link to consent-management modal once the banner is implemented]

6. Do Not Track

The Sites do not respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no industry-wide consensus on how to interpret them. The cookie controls described above provide the same effective choice.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “ Last updated” date below reflects the most recent change.
